BHB PROVIDES CEMS SOLUTION FOR HOSPITAL WASTE INCINERATOR
BHB was the company chosen by SUCH to provide the Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS) for the Lisbon Hazardous Hospital Waste Incineration Unit.
BHB was the company chosen by the SUCH to provide, under “turnkey” regime, the automatic system for the continuous gas emissions monitoring of the Hazardous Hospital Waste Incineration Unit, present at the Lisbon Health Park.
SUCH is a private Association whose mission intends to promote costs reduction and quality as well as efficiency increase of its Associates, the Portuguese Public Hospitals (National Health System - SNS).
BHB has chosen an extractive type of measurement technique, in wet and hot base, using spectrometric measurement technology FTIR (Fourier Transformer Infrared) with heated measuring cell.
For this project BHB presented the largely recognized ACF-NT continuous gas analyzer, of its partner ABB, an indisputable national benchmark and QAL1 certificate according to the European Standard EN 14181:2004.
Combined to the multicomponent gas emissions analysis system, BHB presented a system for data acquisition and treatment, the remarkable D-EMS 2000, of its partner DURAG, currently, the unique solution in the European space with a QAL1 certification according to the European Standards EN 14181:2004 and EN 15267-1.
