BHB UPGRADED PROCESS ANALYZER OF FC-E11 UNIT IN SINES REFINERY
BHB optimized the Process Gases Analysis System present in the Smoke Chamber of the FC-E11 at the Sines Refinery, making it possible to measure NO, NO2 and NOX.
BHB was invited by Petrogal, S.A. to perform the upgrade of the Process Gases Analysis System in the Smoke Chamber of the FC-E11 Unit of the Sines Refinery.
Opting for an extractive type analysis system, which combines high measuring accuracy with calibration ease, the following components will be measured: NO, NO2 e NOX (NO+NO2).
The analyzer chosen, from our representative ABB, LIMAS23, uses the measuring principle of non-dispersive ultraviolet, individually measuring the NO and NO2 content and calculating the NOX content.
As a turnkey project, many mechanical and electrical changes were performed, in particular, the installation of cables of the power supply circuit and binary and analogic signal cables, plus the analyzer cabinet upgrade to incorporate the new analyzer.
