BHB RENEWS AEG RECTIFIERS IN REPSOL YPF SINES SITE (PORTUGAL)
On December, BHB will supply eleven AEG TPRe Highpower-Rectifiers (24Vdc, 48Vdc, 110Vdc, 120 Vdc and 220Vdc) in a turn-key project for Repsol YPF Petrochemical Site in Sines, Portugal.
BHB was invited by Repsol YPF to replace eleven existing AEG Rectifiers installed on Monte Feio site (six units) and in the Port Terminal (five units). Some of these equipments date back to the beginning of the petrochemical complex.
The unusual longevity of these equipments (produced in 1978) demonstrates the high reliability and robustness of AEG rectifiers.
Included in this turn-key project, is the mechanical complex disassembly of the existing equipment and installation of the new units. The replacement will be made while the plant is in operation and without interruption of power supply.
BHB will also be responsible for the commissioning and start-up operations. The local operation team will also receive training on the operation of the system.
For this project we have selected AEG TPRe Highpower-rectifiers, with microprocessor controlled thyristor technology to provide high-reliability power supply and battery charging capabilities.
