BHB DELIVERED CEMS TURNKEY PROJECT IN CYPRUS
BHB projected, supplied and commissioned the CEMS of all the Vasilikos Power Station production units, responsible for more than 60% of the energy consumed in Cyprus.
During 2010, BHB began its internationalization process to Cyprus with the project, supply and commissioning of the continuous emissions monitoring system (CEMS) for the IV Unit of the Vasilikos Power Station.
However, in July 2011, following a fire at the Evangelos Florakis Naval Base, the explosion of an ammunition armament occurred, generating a shock wave that almost completely destroyed the Central, disabling all the production units.
Therefore, in 2011, BHB in partnership with the Engineering Group J&P Avax, supplied the turnkey project for the continuous emissions monitoring system for Units IV and V of the Vasilikos Power Station.
In 2012, in partnership with Alstom Norway, it also supplied the CEMS system for the Unit III of this Central.
In the same year, invited by EAC (Electricity Authority of Cyprus), owner of the Vasilikos Power Station, BHB supplied the continuous emissions monitoring system of Unit I and Unit II, providing all the CEMS solutions of the Power Station.
