BHB CEMS PROJECT IN THE SOHAR REFINERY, SULTANATE OF OMAN
BHB provided the continuous emissions monitoring system for the SO2, NOX, CO and O2 emissions of the Sohar Refinery, under the emission control project promoted by ORPIC.
Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Co (ORPIC) began the Sohar Refinery emission reduction project in September last year.
BHB in partnership with ALSTOM Norway projected and comissioned the SO2, NOX, CO e O2 continuous emissions analysis system (CEMS).
With an extensive experience in this type of projects, BHB developed a customized solution, while keeping in mind the severe local weather conditions as well as the production process specifics.
As the emissions reduction project garnered high visibility, BHB expects that new projects may be awarded, in particular in the oil industry, chemical industry and cement plants.
